Adrien Philippe is a watchmaker from France. Adrien Philippe also invented the so called "keyless winding mechanism". Because of their good chemistry and their unmatched watch making skills, after about a year, they decided to introduce their company named after themselves, the Patek Philippe and Co.
Because of their skills they were able to produce their first wristwatch in 1868. Their watches have exclusive intricacies. Intricacies that made them a pioneer for complicated, exact, and precise watches. Patek Philippe loaded their watches with enormous features- they introduced the prepetual calendar, chronograph, a very special minute repeater and split seconds hand.
While other Swiss companies on their time produces mostly mechanical. Patek Philippe also produced mechanical movements of the automatic and manual wind variations. Patek Philippe also produced quartz watches and later on they even dared to produced digital wristwatch (the Patek Philippe Ref. 3414). The Patek Philippe is known for it's incomparable uniqueness.
